November 6 – Teach N Reach (Fri PM) - Questioning God; Why Bad Things Happen.
John Stratford has many years of experience in law enforcement and detective work. As a committed Christian and church leader, he will be sharing how faith in a loving God makes a difference when bad things happen in our lives or the lives of others.

November 13 – Media Night (Fri PM) – Movie Night – “Faith Like Potatoes” is an inspiring true story of a rugged South African farmer.
His quest for material success is slowly transformed into a wild love for God and people, as he wrestles with faith, hope, natural disasters and tragic personal loss. Come see how God can use bad things to strengthen one person’s faith and trust in God.

November 11 - Ladies Open House (Wed 5:30-8:30pm) – Drop by for part of the time or the whole time.
Feel free to bring your dinner or a snack and come as you are.

November 20 – Share N Care (Fri PM) – Kurt Free, a Christian psychologist,
will help us process different ways of responding to bad and difficult situations and events in our lives.

November 27 – Potluck (Fri PM) – Join us for our annual “After Thanksgiving Leftover Potluck and Game Night.”
We will meet at the Shalom Center at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 6835 SW 46th Avenue, Portland, OR 97219
(Approximately 46th Ave and Vermont). Bring a dish to share and your favorite board game.
