Theme for 2009: Single Living With A Single Purpose “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31
July 3 – (Fri PM) – Game Night to start our 4th of July weekend. July 4 – (Sat 5:00pm) – 4th of July Celebration - BBQ at Jane’s house followed by fireworks at Tigard High. For more information, pick up a flyer or call 503-639-3065. July 10 – Teach N Reach (Fri PM) - “Christian Junk Food” Christian bookstore owner Carl Peterson will speak about how to determine what Christian material (books, music, videos, etc) helps us grow in our faith and what is just Christian junk food. July 12 - Christian Bowling Night (Sun 8:45pm) at Park Lanes, 6360 SE Alexander St, Hillsboro; 503-642-2161. Cost is $10 per person. July 17 – Share N Care (Fri PM) – “Christian Nutrition” with John Cundiff. A night of discussing what Christian material and music helps you grow in your Christian faith and ministry. Please bring your ideas of what Christian material has helped you grow. July 22 - Ladies Open House (Wed 5:30-8:30pm) – Drop by for part of the time or the whole time. Feel free to bring your dinner or a snack and come as you are. For more information call 503-201-6290. July 24 – Potluck (Fri PM) – A BBQ in the park (next door to church) featuring BBQ Sauce Taste Test. Bring a favorite meat and a side dish or dessert to share with others. July 26 - Christian Cosmic Bowling Night (Sun 8:45pm) at Park Lanes, 6360 SE Alexander St, Hillsboro; 503-642-2161. Cost is $10 per person. July 31 – Raise N Praise (Fri PM) – A great time of worshiping our God outdoors in the park next to the church. Bring warm clothing/blankets in case of evening chill.
